The central government is working to improve traffic safety.  For this reason, some rules are being changed.  Recently, the ministry's new guidelines are for bike riders.  A guideline said last month that there would be a handle on both sides of the bike and behind the driver's seat.  That means protecting the people behind it.  Most bikes do not have this feature.  It has also been made mandatory to have foot stands on both sides of the bike.

The guideline states that the rear wheel of the bike should cover at least half of the left side, so that the clothes of the person sitting behind it get stuck in the wheel.  The container will be 550 mm long, 510 mm wide and 500 mm high.  Only the driver will be approved if the container is installed in the rear passenger seat.  That means no one else can ride that bike.

The government recently issued new guidelines on tires.  Guidelines have been issued accordingly.  According to it, the tire pressure monitoring system is recommended for vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons.

The system senses the driver through the sensor what the air is in the tire of the vehicle.  The ministry also recommended tire repair kits.  The vehicle will not need additional tires once it is in place.
