 Bear terror in Nuwara Eliya.  One person was seriously injured in the attack.  In critical condition, he was rushed to a hospital in Nuwara Eliya.  The incident took place in Dongar village, Sinapali range, Nuapadha district.  The victim was identified as Jalandhar Majhi.


 Jalandhar's fisherman went to the pond this morning to defecate.  Just then a bear attacked.  The bear is believed to have lost both eyes while attacking the face.  Jalandhar was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was shifted to Bhawanipatna Hospital for further treatment.  Jalandhar's leg was also injured.
