 The Congress candidate selection committee for the by-elections in Baleshwar and Tirthol reported to the provincial election committee.  Nabjyot Patnaik has been nominated for Balasore Sadar, while four have been nominated for Tirthol.  In the Tirtol by-election, E.C.  Himanshu Mallick's name is in the forefront.


 He is more likely to run for office.  The Congress committee today issued a report to PCC president Niranjan Patnaik.  This was informed by Congress Jatani MLA Suresh Kumar Rautaray.
