ICM4R6 Sero Survey Report: More than 6% of infections in rural India.

 The country's first national Sero Survey Report by ICM4R7 has been released.  The survey, published in the Indian Journal of Medical Research, found that more than 600,000 people in the country had been infected with coronavirus by the beginning of May.  Rural India has the highest number of infections.  In rural India, the highest number of people infected with coronary artery disease is 7.8 per cent.  In urban areas, 15.4 percent and in urban non-slums 18.7 percent are infected.  It is also found that among people aged 18-45, sero-positives have the highest rate of 73.3 percent.  Then, between 6 and 60 years, the sero-positive rate was 39.5 percent, and the age-40-year-old was 14.2 percent.  As of the beginning of May, there were 7,434 young people in the country who were infected with the corona.  The survey was conducted between May 11 and June 7.  A total of 24,000 individuals were included in the survey.  Overall, however, India has a low positive of zero.  The survey was conducted in 21 states.  A total of 0.83 percent of the youth were infected with coronary heart disease.
